Job Description
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- An Attorney-at-Law with at least 4 years’ experience in Civil Law, particularly Land Law.
- Must hold a Notary License to practice in Sinhala and English within Colombo jurisdiction.
- Familiarity with Labour Law is a plus.
Summary of Job Scope:
- Representing in courts, including at regional levels.
- Handling police inquiries and liaising with government bodies on land-related issues.
- Conducting notarial works for commercial agreements.
- Supporting the Department Head in daily Legal Operations.
This role involves frequent travel to outstations for court appearances and engagements with authorities. Accommodation in regions may be necessary. Candidates unable to meet these requirements are advised not to apply.
