About The Client
The client is a specialised legal processing business providing services to international clients. Their team works at the intersection of legal expertise and global business, delivering high-quality legal support services to overseas clients.
Position Overview
The client is seeking a detail-oriented Legal Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you will analyse legal documents, conduct research, and provide comprehensive legal support services to the client’s international clientele.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and process legal documents for overseas clients
- Conduct thorough legal research and due diligence
- Prepare legal reports and summaries
- Assist in document review and compliance verification
- Collaborate with international clients and team members
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant jurisdictions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree
- Valid Attorney-at-Law license to practise in Sri Lanka
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in international legal matters
- Strong time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong command of English
- Commercial contract experience will be an advantage
