Lecturer (part Time) – Statistics
The Role Expectation
- Teach and facilitate learning to reach inspired outcomes
- Develop and deliver comprehensive curriculum, lesson plans, and learning materials that align with industry standards and best practices.
- Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages students
- Foster a collaborative and hands-on learning experience through practical exercises, projects, and real-world applications.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements, trends, and emerging trends and integrate them into the curriculum as appropriate.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and industry professionals to continuously improve teaching methods, curriculum development, and student outcomes.
- Mentor and guide students in their career aspirations, helping them to identify opportunities and paths in sustainable technology.
- Required to work on-site in Galle and the lectures will be on weekdays.
The Person
- Proven industry experience in teaching or training, preferably in a related field, and a demonstrated ability to engage and inspire students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts effectively and adapt teaching methods to various learning styles.
- Proficiency in designing and delivering hands-on, project-based learning experiences that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry tools, frameworks.
- A commitment to staying informed about the latest trends, research, and advancements in sustainable tech education.
- A passion for sustainability, technology, and the intersection of the two, with a drive to make a positive impact through education.
