Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic Junior Procurement Executive to support our procurement operations and contribute to our clients continued success.
Job Title: Junior Procurement Executive
Location: Peliyagoda

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, pricing, and delivery timelines.
- Evaluate supplier performance, address issues, and collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and pricing fluctuations.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
- Place purchase orders in line with production schedules and inventory requirements.
- Work towards achieving cost savings through effective negotiation and strategic sourcing.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and contracts.
- Collaborate with departments such as production, quality control, and finance.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Food & Beverages Purchasing.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with tea packing materials and procurement process is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems.
