Job Description
Responsible for identifying material/service requirements for planned and unplanned work and raising purchase orders under purchasing authority while maintaining purchasing records.
Identify and assess the yarn/chemical/engineering/packing material/other requirements, then recommend supplier quotations, bids, and proposals.
Work with external suppliers and service providers to determine procurement needs, quality, and delivery requirements and communicate order performance including delivery, receipt, quality, damages, and shortages.
Manage inventory control, arranging fast-moving stock items, and controlling slow-moving items and non-moving items.
Handle CAPEX purchases and end-to-end asset purchases.
Ensure timely handover of all invoices related to material purchases and services for payments and clear long-pending purchase orders.
