Junior Finance Executive – Banking and Collections

Position Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented intern to support our finance team with day-to-day banking operations, debtor collection calls, reporting, and ad hoc tasks. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in banking procedures, customer interaction, financial reporting, and problem-solving within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct day-to-day banking activities, including processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and managing cash flow.

2. Assist in debtor collection through phone calls, emails, and correspondence to ensure timely payment and resolution of outstanding invoices.

3. Collaborate with team members on ad hoc projects and assignments, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Qualifications:

1. Currently pursuing a degree in finance, accounting (ACCA/CA)

2. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.

3. Detail-oriented with good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.

4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
