Job Description
Overview
This role involves preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing insights into financial performance. Responsibilities include managing tax obligations, reconciling accounts, and conducting financial analysis to support decision-making. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, intermediate qualifications in ACCA/CIMA, and 1-2 years of finance and accounting experience. Proficiency in MS Office, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication are essential.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting deadlines.
- Manage local tax obligations and compliance.
- Maintain the general ledger and reconcile accounts.
- Record and track transactions accurately.
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Provide insights into financial performance and trends.
- Collaborate with external teams to gather financial data for reporting purposes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Intermediate qualification in ACCA/CIMA.
- 1-2 Years of working experience in finance & accounting.
- Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office packages, especially MS Excel and MS Word.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
