Job Description
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Executive – Finance at our company in Rajagiriya. The role will involve tasks related to financial statements, analytical skills, finance, taxation, and financial reporting.
Job Duties
- Conduct daily bank reconciliations for FITS Retail Bank Accounts.
- Review, verify, and record supplier/vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and execute payments to ensure timely processing, thereby avoiding late payment fees and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
- File and maintain all payment vouchers along with necessary supporting documents.
- Record and reconcile all credit card transactions on a monthly basis.
- Ensure that supplier advances are properly transferred to the Accounts Payable accounts.
- Verify supplier invoices to ensure compliance with VAT and tax requirements.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience in a similar role is required.
- A degree in Finance or Accounting, or a relevant professional qualification.
- Strong communication skills.
