Job Description

  • Handle general administrative activities cargo and container – Hambantota division including license renewals, lease agreements.
  • Obtain required port and customs permits by managing documentation and coordinating with regulatory authorities efficiently.
  • Manage and oversee the inventory of assets (IMPL/HIPG) to ensure accurate tracking and maintenance.
  • Coordinate and manage stationery needs, ensuring proper documentation and timely supply for office operations.
  • Monitor and verify the validity of staff driving licenses while coordinating the provision of necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Facilitate smooth functioning of the Quality Management System (ISO) by conducting internal audits and facilitating external audits.
  • Maintain and follow-up service provider’s agreements, maintain hired vehicles license/ Insurance/ Running charts.
  • Manage petty cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accurate processing and payment of service providers’ invoices and bills for prompt settlements.
  • Support recruitment processes, manage employee personal files, and coordinate HR aptitude tests and HIPS safety inductions.
  • Manage resignation processes and exit documentation while manually tracking staff attendance and overtime records.
