Job Description
Requirements:
- High proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with a strong understanding of asynchronous programming concepts.
- Basic understanding of test automation.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as JEST, Chai, Playwright, or desktop app-based automation frameworks is advantageous.
- Familiarity with NodeJS APIs and web technologies including REST and web servers.
- Optional: Experience working in a Linux environment.
- Optional: Some exposure to UI automation tools like Puppeteer, Playwright, or Cypress.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation tests for apps and APIs.
- Ensure the proper execution of test procedures and automated test suites/scripts.
- Understand business requirements and formulate appropriate test strategies for various types of testing, maintaining requirement traceability.
- Collaborate with geographically distributed test and development teams.
