Job Description
The ideal candidate should possess a Degree in Accountancy/Finance/Business Analytics/Management from a recognized institute and Part Qualifications from AAT/CA/CMA/CIMA/ACCA. A minimum of 1 year’s experience in Risk Management/Auditing at an Audit Firm/Mercantile Establishment is essential to perform this role. Integrity, independence, analytical, communication, and organizational skills are key attributes sought.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
- Identifying and assessing significant business risks across the Group
- Conducting regular risk assessments/reviews for effective operational management
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive risk registers to track and monitor Group risks
- Coordinating with SBUs to update registers and perform periodic reviews
- Engaging with the Management to determine risk mitigation strategies
- Conducting risk-based audits covering operational/financial processes
- Implementing best practices in compliance with internal standards/regulations
- Minimizing business/financial risks through effective control measures
