Job Description

Responsibilities

• Monitor social media channels to understand sentiments and discussions surrounding our brand. Provide regular reports on key findings and insights.
• Assist the crisis response team in addressing and mitigating any negative publicity that may arise on social platforms. Support the development and implementation of response strategies.
• Track and analyze social media trends to help the brand stay relevant and adapt its social media strategies. Share insights and recommendations with the marketing team.
• Support the creation and execution of unconventional and engaging social media campaigns that generate buzz and drive engagement.
• Assist in creating compelling and relevant content for various social media platforms, ensuring consistency with the brand voice and style.
• Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
• Conduct research on competitors and industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in our social media strategy.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree or diploma in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field, or have relevant coursework or experience.
• Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and how they can be used for marketing.
• Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative mindset with a passion for coming up with innovative marketing ideas.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently.
