Job Description
We are looking for a motivated QA Intern to join our quality assurance team at iTelaSoft. As a QA Intern, you will assist in testing software products to ensure they meet high standards of quality before release. This role offers hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing processes, providing valuable insights into the key aspects of quality assurance in a fast-paced software development environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and scripts for manual and automated testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools.
- Perform regression testing to maintain software quality.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure proper testing coverage.
- Contribute to automated test script creation.
- Document and report test results, suggesting improvements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies for project alignment.
Core Competencies Required:
- Understanding of QA principles, testing methodologies, and SDLC.
- Knowledge of a programming language, preferably Java.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and analytical abilities.
- Time management and multitasking skills.
- Desire to learn new tools, technologies, and testing practices.
- Familiarity with Agile and testing tools like JIRA, Selenium.
