Job Description
Role Summary
This role involves the first line incident response to detect suspicious, improper, or unauthorized activity on the organization’s information security posture. Working closely with the Security Operations team and other support teams, the role ensures successful information security operations through event filtering, collation of information, Alert/Alarm monitoring, escalation, ticket management, and initial customer contact.
Job Description
- Serve as the initial point of contact for monitoring and assessing security alerts, triaging alerts swiftly and escalating observations regarding alert performance.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, actions taken, and resolutions in the Ticketing system, ensuring continuous availability and functionality of data sources.
- Compile daily reports summarizing security incidents, activities, and notable events for customers.
Person Specification
- Preferably pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security or similar IT field.
