Job Description

Orient Insurance Sri Lanka is seeking a dedicated Underwriter for our branches in Embilipitiya, Kurunagala, Kuliyapitiya, and Gampaha and Head office. The Underwriter will play a key role in evaluating insurance applications, analyzing risk factors, preparing accurate quotes, and assisting in making informed underwriting decisions. This position requires reviewing policy documents, coordinating with agents and clients, and ensuring all actions comply with relevant regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Strong skills in risk assessment, underwriting, and policy analysis
• High attention to detail with a solid foundation in analytical thinking
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledgeable in insurance principles and regulatory requirements
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
