Job Description
A top apparel supplier in Sri Lanka, Uconnect, is looking for a skilled Executive-Industrial Engineer to join their team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Generate SMV’s related to production and suggest improvements
- Utilize machinery for efficiency and material waste reduction
- Create Optimum Thread usages for production
- Identify garment construction techniques and propose to technical teams
- Identify nonvalue-added activities in production for improvements
Qualifications:
- 5 years experience in production
- Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills
- Knowledge of automation, machinery, sewing techniques, and workplace arrangements
- GSD license is a plus
- Experience in automation projects is advantageous
