Job Description
Imports Coordinator is responsible for daily Imports & logistics operations. Must work independently under pressure, handling sudden situations. Implement and maintain 5s standards.
Responsibilities:
- Source and procure import requirements.
- Ensure timely samples preparation and order deliveries.
- Coordinate with suppliers for materials prices.
- Handle regulatory clearances and shipping documents.
- Arrange import duty payments and manage foreign correspondence.
- Track shipments and obtain import insurance.
Qualifications:
- Professional Qualification in Supply Chain Management/Logistics.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of International Trade and shipping terms.
- Familiar with MS Office and good in E-mail communication.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Analytical, organizing skills and able to work under pressure.
- Prefer candidates residing near Moratuwa area.
