DESIGNATION: Head of Modern Trade
LOCATION: Colombo
POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Modern Trade Manager to drive our sales strategy within the modern trade channel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG sales, excellent relationship management skills, and a passion for delivering results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute modern trade strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
- Build and maintain relationships with key retailers and distributors.
- Negotiate contracts and promotional activities to maximize product visibility and sales performance.
- Analyze market trends and consumer insights for trade marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for alignment and execution of plans.
- Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports with actionable insights.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 10 years in Modern Trade Sales in FMCG.
- Proven track record of successful sales and market development.
