Job Description
We are seeking a suitable candidate for our client company, Quess Lanka, a 4-star hotel based in Kandy.
Location: Kandy
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate monthly and quarterly management accounts, including financial statements
- Optimize working capital position through strict control on receivables and credits
- Manage invoicing, payments, and receipts in adherence to company policies
- Oversee internal and external audits, delegating tasks and facilitating the process
- Prepare annual budgets in consultation with senior management
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and submissions
- Manage the team, including resource allocation and staff motivation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field or qualified member of ICA / CIMA / ACCA
- 12+ years of experience with 3-5 years in a similar role in the hospitality sector
- Demonstrate leadership and team development skills
- Experience in training staff and financial audits
