Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and update policies, procedures, and processes governing compliance, risk, planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Monitor local and international tax compliance to ensure adherence to relevant regulations and minimize tax liabilities.
- Compile and present financial and budget reports to senior management and stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
- Lead treasury management efforts, including negotiating with banks and corporates to ensure optimal cash flows for business growth and sustainability.
- Oversee financial decision-making processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
- Provide strategic financial guidance and support to senior management in evaluating investment opportunities and strategic initiatives.
Candidate Profile:
- The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Management and a professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with full membership.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive leadership experience in finance, significant exposure to financial strategy, audit, management accounting, and tax management.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate financial insights into actionable business strategies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with high ethical standards.
- Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel.
