Job Description

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, execution, and successful delivery of engineering projects with adherence to timelines, scope, and budget.
• Lead design and development of innovative engineering solutions meeting functional and safety requirements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards, conducting inspections and audits.
• Lead and mentor the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and high performance.
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities within the engineering department.
• Oversee budget development and management, focusing on resource optimization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align with project objectives.
• Drive initiatives integrating sustainable practices into engineering projects aligning with corporate goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related).
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent certification preferred.
• 10-12 years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Membership in relevant engineering bodies is an advantage.
• Expertise in project management, design principles, and industry standards.
• Understanding of regulatory and safety standards, especially in the gas and energy sector.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
• Proficiency in engineering software and project management tools.
• Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
