Job Description
We are in the lookout for a Head of Category – Supply Chain for one of our clients, specialized and leading in the Global Modern trade retailing.
Job Description:
- Develop and implement category strategies aligned with supply chain and company objectives.
- Conduct market analysis, risk assessments, and spend analysis for cost reduction and quality improvement.
- Define sourcing strategies, supplier selection, and contract negotiation.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships for reliable supply and optimal pricing.
- Lead and mentor a team of category managers and sourcing professionals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in supply chain, strategic sourcing, or category management.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Results-oriented, proactive, collaborative, and strong communicator.
