Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Kandy for a Head Chef at Yaka Lounge. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen, managing food preparation, creating menus, ensuring food quality, and supervising kitchen staff.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience
- Strong leadership skills and ability to guide and motivate a team
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Creativity and ability to innovate in menu development
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
