Job Description
A new opportunity has arisen as a General Counsel who will take ownership of all legal and regulatory matters.
Responsibilities will include:
- Liaise and report to the relevant regulatory bodies as required by the applicable regulations;
- Act as an adviser to the Company’s Board of Directors and Senior Management on general compliance issues;
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of prevailing business practices and regulatory application;
- Ensure local operations comply with regulations;
- Advise staff on regulatory requirements;
- Monitor compliance, due diligence, and risk management;
- Assist with internal and external audits.
Requirements:
- Relevant compliance experience in a fast-paced environment
- Extensive experience with regulators
