Job Description
Position: Fire and Safety Technician
Company: Trans Gulf (Pvt) Ltd
Location: Kuwait
Job Overview: Trans Gulf (Pvt) Ltd is seeking an experienced Fire and Safety Technician to ensure the safety and proper functioning of fire protection and detection systems within our facilities. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in fire protection/detection systems, with a strong commitment to safety protocols and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct monthly inspections of fire extinguishers and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Adjust clock timings twice a year to accommodate daylight savings changes.
- Disable and re-enable fire panels as directed by the Fire & Safety Manager or Chief Engineer.
- Assist with tasks assigned by the Fire & Safety Manager and Chief Engineer.
- Maintain complete confidentiality regarding sensitive matters related to the business and the Maintenance Department.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in fire protection and/or detection systems.
- Proficiency in English; Basic knowledge of Arabic is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
