Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Creating and maintaining complex financial models to analyze and forecast the company’s financial performance, including forecasting and valuation models.
  • Conducting thorough financial analysis to assess the company’s health, performance, and trends.
  • Evaluating investment opportunities and performing cost-benefit analyses.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations for investors and external stakeholders.
  • Conducting due diligence for potential transactions involves investigating and analyzing financial and operational aspects of target companies.
  • Performing ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making by the executive team.
  • Conducting independent background research on specific industries and companies.
  • Liaising with shareholders and potential investors.

Education/Experience and Skill Requirement:

  • Over two years of relevant experience, preferably in Investment Research or Corporate Finance.
  • A degree in business/accounting or completed professional qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA, or CA Sri Lanka.
  • A highly analytical mind, with strong attention to detail.
  • Good written and spoken English communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
