Job Description
Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role as Finance Manager – Reporting at Union Bank of Colombo. You will be responsible for preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and computation of impairments and overseeing finance. The role involves ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to support decision-making.
The Job:
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with Sri Lanka Accounting Standards.
- Computation of collective impairments in accordance with SLFRS 9.
- Preparation of monthly regulatory reporting financial statements in accordance with Central Bank Directions and Guidelines.
- Preparation of monthly dashboards relating to financial statements for Board reporting.
- Liaison with branches and other departments for GL-related matters.
The Person:
- Overall finance-related experience of 6+ years
- Full qualification in CA/ACCA/CIMA
- Working experience in a reputed Audit Firm is an added advantage
- Ability to understand and apply accounting standards
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- A team player with a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills
- Competency in MS Office package
