Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented intern to assist our finance team with day-to-day banking operations, debtor collection calls, reporting, and ad hoc tasks. This role provides hands-on experience in banking procedures, customer interaction, financial reporting, and problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct day-to-day banking activities, including processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and managing cash flow.
- Assist in debtor collection efforts through phone calls, emails, and correspondence for timely payment and invoice resolution.
- Collaborate on ad hoc projects, showcasing flexibility and adaptability.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- Strong communication skills for professional interactions.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
