This is a full-time hybrid role for a Finance Intern at Virtusa located in Colombo.
Duties/responsibilities
- Preparation of letters for employee requests
- Preparation of ETF/EPF forms
- Management of payment approvals on bank portals and following up with signatories for approvals
- Initiation of payments on banking portals for statutory payments
- Dealing with employee queries on salary related matters
- Passing of JE’s for month-end book closure purposes
Qualifications
- Pursuing or completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Analytical Skills and Financial knowledge
- Effective Communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in MS Office
