Job Description
Our client is a prominent player in the Sri Lankan health sector and holds a leading position as a local sustainable manufacturer, waste management, and eco-friendly laundry service provider, Located in Colombo-03.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning.
- Analyze financial data and performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations to management for decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation, monitoring, and management of the company’s budgets and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage cash flow by monitoring inflows and outflows, forecasting cash needs, and optimizing liquidity.
- Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for banking activities and facilities.
- Collaborate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with tax regulations and optimize tax strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics.
- Professional experience in ACCA/CIMA/AC. (Full or Part Qualified)
- Proven 1-2 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with a focus on financial analysis, planning, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting software, and ERP.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate meaningful insights.
