About the role | Mō te tūranga:

Due to an internal career progression, we are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance Team. As a Finance Business Partner you will play a pivotal role in partnering with the business to provide trusted, insightful, and comprehensive management accounting services. You will work closely with General Managers and their leadership teams in the Central North Island and in the South Island to drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the month-end close and reporting process for designated business units.
• Conduct financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliation processes.
• Provide advanced financial analysis and business case support to drive business improvement initiatives.
• Ensure the appropriate accounting of 3rd party client and vendor contract provisions.
• Support the provision of KPI reporting to clients and other external stakeholders.
• Assist in the build of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasting.
• Respond to external audit queries as required.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis to support various business needs.

To succeed in this role, you will need | Kia angitu, me whai koe i:

• Qualified CA with management accounting experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in month-end reporting, advanced financial modelling, and business partnering.
• Advanced Excel skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Experience in managing financials for large client or vendor contracts.
