Job Description
Web Lankan is a leading, award-winning web designing/development and digital marketing agency based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. We are looking for a dedicated individual to join us as a Finance Assistant.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining general ledger and reconciliation
- Assisting with monthly accounts closure and reporting deadlines
- Handling payments, cash, and working capital management
- Managing tax-related documentation
- Preparing annual budget and financial evaluation analysis
- Strengthening internal controls and process automation
- Handling client agreements and ad-hoc admin work
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Quick Books is a plus
- IT sector experience is preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
