Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our client’s team as a Finance Assistant. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and are passionate about Finance, this might be the perfect role for you.

Designation: Finance Assistant

Location: Colombo

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise finance assistants to ensure accuracy.
  • Oversee bank reconciliations and update management on cash flow.
  • Maintain financial documents and ensure system completeness up to the trial balance.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare timely tax returns and payments.
  • Ensure stock accuracy and collaborate with the Chief Accountant for necessary actions.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or partial qualification in CA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in finance and auditing.
  • Proven team management experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability under pressure.
  • Excellent team player with a proactive attitude.
