Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our client’s team as a Finance Assistant. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and are passionate about Finance, this might be the perfect role for you.
Designation: Finance Assistant
Location: Colombo
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise finance assistants to ensure accuracy.
- Oversee bank reconciliations and update management on cash flow.
- Maintain financial documents and ensure system completeness up to the trial balance.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare timely tax returns and payments.
- Ensure stock accuracy and collaborate with the Chief Accountant for necessary actions.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or partial qualification in CA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in finance and auditing.
- Proven team management experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability under pressure.
- Excellent team player with a proactive attitude.
