Job Description
As the General Manager of a Star factory, you will be responsible for the end-to-end process of that factory. Your key responsibility will be to achieve set KPIs within the allocated factory budget.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure manufacturing targets are met in terms of output, quality, lead time & WIP.
- Provide leadership in driving the plant RM saving Strategy.
- Oversee plant production is completed on time with minimal costs.
- Contribute to the annual budget preparation.
- Lead and motivate the team and provide necessary coaching.
- Work with all operations teams to achieve Factory Goals and KPIs.
Qualifications:
- Degree or Masters in Business Administration or relevant Textiles qualification.
- 6-7 years of relevant work experience (5-6 years in senior management).
- Understanding of garment industry and manufacturing.
- Knowledge in health & safety standards and job hazards.
- Good communication and customer relationship skills.
- Expertise in Knit/Woven outerwear & kidswear manufacturing.
- Knowledge in WRAP, GMP, Compliance & Sustainability.
- Extensive global manufacturing knowledge.
- Proven people leadership skills and team orientation.
