Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Analyze current production processes and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and increase efficiency
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues
- Monitor production metrics and provide regular reports on performance and progress
- Train and mentor production staff on new processes and procedures
- Implement cost-saving measures to improve production efficiency
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to continuously improve production processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent professional qualification, Master’s degree is an added advantage
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer
- Minimum 10 years of managerial experience in manufacturing, with at least 2 years specifically in UHT coconut milk and coconut water production
- Practical experience within the coconut industry, particularly with boilers, dryers, oil expellers, and filters, is highly advantageous
- Familiarity with food quality control and safety principles and practices is mandatory (IS02200 and HACCP Food Safety and Quality Control Procedures)
