Job Description
Key responsibilities:
- Executions of transactions & ensure accuracy of inventory management by constant verification.
- Responsible for KPI reports and maintaining statistics on manufacturing processes.
- Monitor and control inventory levels (MRP).
- Taking prompt action to improve productivity of the manufacturing & goods issuing process. (Member of business process re-engineering team)
- Compliance with organizational policies & procedures while maintaining standards (ISO etc.) of the organization.
Key requirements:
- Degree in Production Engineering/ Manufacturing Management/ Business Management/ Business Administration/ Logistic from a recognized University
- OR
- G.C.E. A/L (Mathematics or Commerce stream) with minimum 03 Credit passes and a Diploma in warehousing/ logistics/ Manufacturing with minimum of 02 years’ experience in Operations environment.
- Knowledge in Operation excellence such as Lean Management/ Six sigma would be an added advantage.
- Excellence in everyday computer literacy including high-level of knowledge in MS Excel with the ability to learn and streamline existing technology to improve the processes.
- Experience in SAP or similar ERP would be a distinct advantage.
- Ability to travel to Kelaniya to start work at 7.30 am and occasionally working on a shift basis.
The successful candidate will be recruited on a one-year contract with a possibility to continue based on performance.
