A leading steel manufacturing company, Uconnect, is seeking an Engineering Manager (Solar Operations) to join its team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation of solar plants, ensuring maximum output through regular maintenance and operational oversight.
- Manage new solar projects, ensuring resources are effectively allocated for on-time project delivery.
- Liaise with government agencies to secure project approvals promptly.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering their professional development.
- Manage cross-functional teams to maintain peak performance levels.
- Monitor and report plant performance data, identifying and resolving any operational issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- A member of IESL.
- 6-8 years of experience in managing and operating solar projects.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory and industry standards related to solar projects.
