Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electronic Engineer to lead our technology division and drive innovation within our recycling platform. He/She will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operation and continuous improvement of our reverse vending machines, overseeing development of the home and business app, and associated systems. The role will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance the user experience, optimize operational efficiency, and contribute to the overall growth of the company.

Responsibilities

• Researching solutions, designing, simulating, developing, prototyping electronic systems.

• Observing designs, making suggestions, design and develop prototypes of innovative products.

• Improve the quality and reliability of the electronic design continuously.

• Maintain and service electronic equipment deployed in several places in Colombo

• Maintain, debug and root cause backend, frontend, mobile app software solution

• Communicating with clients, vendors, suppliers and other professionals for project relevant tasks.

• Document technical design related information and testing data for future usage.

• Drive the implementation of robust data management and security practices to protect customer

information and maintain compliance

• Champion a user-centric approach, continuously enhancing the user experience across all digital

touchpoints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering or related field.

• One or more years of experience with electronic product design (R&D) environments.

• Have basic software skills to maintain, debug and root cause analyze backend, frontend, mobile app

software solutions

• Superior skills and experience of using electronic design software solutions, electronics simulation

software solutions as well as hands on practices.

• Knowledge and experience of micro-controllers and firmware development.

• Practical experience of embedded system development.

• Ability to work with electronic tools and equipment.

• Be based around Colombo and be able to work from home effectively
