Job Description
Overall, Scope and responsibility:
- Overall responsibility for the company PnL driving sales and operations.
- Special focus on business growth and diversification into related fields.
- Operational efficiencies to improve the bottom line.
- Drive company policies and procedures for business growth.
- Lead a team of 60 to 75 Sales, After Sales, and Operations Staff.
- Liaise with Group Finance and ensure compliance with budgets.
- Provide leadership to Sales, After Sales, and Supply Chain operations.
- Ensure succession plans and develop next-level leaders.
- Promote a learning and performance-oriented culture.
Nature of Business:
- Market leader in Scientific Instrumentation and consumable trading.
Required skills and qualifications:
- 5+ years of leading a sales company with a turnover of 1.5-2 Bil.
- 10+ years of experience in Sales Management, including Govt. and NGO sectors.
- Industry experience in engineering technical fields preferred.
- Strong Negotiation and consensus building skills.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Commerce.
- MBA or Financial Qualifications preferred.
- 15 years of Sales and Marketing experience.
- 10 years of Industry experience.
- Undergrad in a STEM subject would be advantageous.
