Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Director of HR to manage day-to-day HR operations while supporting our strategic HR initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the VP of HR to ensure efficient HR processes and foster a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Operations Management: Oversee daily HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and employee documentation.
- Talent Acquisition: Work with department heads to execute effective hiring strategies and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Employee Relations: Handle employee grievances, foster open communication, and support a positive, productive work culture.
- Compliance: Ensure all HR practices comply with local labor laws and company policies, conducting regular audits to maintain accuracy.
- Performance Management: Support the implementation of performance reviews, career development plans, and employee training initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field and MBA or Master’s in HR preferred.
- Professional Certification: Professional Qualification in Human Resources (PQHRM) or similar certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: 12+ years of HR experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role managing HR operations.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of HR operations, payroll systems, and labor law compliance. Excellent problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
- Industry Experience: Experience in the healthcare or service industry is an advantage.
Personal Attributes:
- Ability to work a straddle shift at least 3 times a week. (1pm to 10pm)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and customize solutions depending on the organizational requirement.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to handle sensitive employee matters professionally.
- Resilient under pressure with the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
