Job Description
The individual in this role will be tasked with overseeing the following responsibilities in our Finance Team:
- Support optimum management of Assets, Liabilities, Capital and enhance returns.
- Liaise with Risk Units, Operations and IT for database support.
- Compile regulatory reporting requirements to CBSL.
- Compile financial risk management disclosures under IFRS, CBSL, and Basel II.
- Monitor compliance with financial covenants by funding agencies.
- Ensure strategic plans align with risk goals.
- Maintain ALM key parameters and Funding forecasts.
- Provide information to Rating Agency.
Added Skills:
- Team player.
- Effective problem solving and analytical skills.
- Understanding of banking products and IT literacy.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-year experience in Financial Services, preferably Banking.
- Degree in Finance or part qualification in CIMA/ACCA/ACA (2nd stage).
- Experience in financial modeling is advantageous.
