Job Description
Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Financial Controller. The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing financial statements, analyzing financial data, overseeing finance operations, preparing financial reports, and maintaining accounting records. This role is located in Colombo and requires on-site presence.
Responsibilities
- Leading the daily activities of accounting and finance operations across a group of entities.
- Performing financial reconciliations from various sources and investigating data discrepancies.
- Performing budgeting and forecasting processes (including cash flow management) and providing the necessary information for effective decision-making.
- Collaborating closely with different teams to deliver comprehensive management reporting and analytics.
- Providing oversight and actively participating in different phases of the audit process, from planning to closure, with communication with auditors, accountants, and the team.
- Submitting all necessary reports to regulators on time.
- Building and managing a growth-oriented international team while aligning finance team goals with company objectives, including support for junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a related field.
- Possessing ACCA qualification.
- Possess experience working in Big4.
- Proficient in MS Excel.
