Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, monitor, and optimize database performance for data availability and security
- Implement database security protocols per regulations and organizational requirements
- Conduct security and risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with CBSL regulations and financial industry standards
- Collaborate on IT projects, including core banking migrations
- Enforce data protection policies like GDPR and CCPA
- Troubleshoot database issues for system operation
- Stay updated on database technologies, security threats, and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Risk Management, or Computer Science
- 5+ years experience in security and risk management for IT projects
- Knowledge of security frameworks, risk methodologies, and financial regulations
- Experience in CBSL compliance and security assessments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience with core banking migrations in financial services
- Understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and cybersecurity best practices
- Familiarity with industry security frameworks
