Job Description
Job Title: Data Engineer
Location: Colombo
Type: Full-time
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, implement, and maintain efficient data pipelines supporting data processing and analytics. Responsibilities include ensuring data quality, integrity, and availability while providing support for data flow and monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and construct scalable data pipelines.
- Ensure data quality through validation and cleansing.
- Proactively monitor and maintain data pipelines.
- Develop and update technical documentation.
- Stay current with new data engineering technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of Data Engineering experience.
- Proficiency in SQL, PySpark, and experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes, Data Warehousing, and Data Lakes.
- Knowledge of data security and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps).
