We Have key market insights and strong supplier partnerships that enable us to source the best deals for our customers. To Expand our Team we invite applications from dedicated, self motivated & dynamic individuals for the above Position.
Responsibilities:
- Airline Ticketing:
Execute all airline ticketing requirements efficiently.
- GDS Management:
Check and update GDS queues regularly.
Handle schedule changes and adjustments promptly.
- Refunds and Complaints:
Process refunds with vendors and airlines according to established procedures.
Address travel-related problems, complaints, and refunds professionally.
- Customer Assistance:
Assist customers with post-sales travel requirements and inquiries.
Provide timely and helpful solutions to customer queries.
- Administrative Tasks:
Ability to work with Microsoft Word, Excel, Google sheets and PowerPoint for documentation and reporting.
Generate and compile reports as requested by management.
Qualifications:
- Experience and Skills:
Minimum 1 year of proven experience in airline ticketing.
Basic in reservation systems, specifically Sabre and Amadeus.
Basic understanding of ticketing rules and industry regulations.
- Language and Communication:
Fluent in English and Sinhala, with excellent communication skills.
Ability to interact, communicate, and negotiate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Industry Knowledge:
Basic knowledge of domestic and international travel trends and regulations.
IATA Foundation or similar certifications.
- Location and Availability:
Reside in Colombo or its suburbs for easy accessibility to work.
Able to work on a roster basis to ensure comprehensive coverage.
