Job Description
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Stewarding to join Hikka Tranz by Cinnamon. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is Sri Lanka’s largest Hotel owner, with a portfolio of 15 Hotels and Resorts in both Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Furthermore, the much-anticipated US$1 Billion – Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort is added to its portfolio, opening soon. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed Conglomerates in Sri Lanka.
The Chief Steward will be responsible for ensuring the highest possible cleanliness and hygiene standards in all food-processing facilities, as well as the operating equipment. You will supervise the duties of all stewarding department employees and manage the dish room operations, front and back area cleaning, and equipment maintenance. This role will work closely with the Executive Chef, Event Services, and Food & Beverage Manager to anticipate guest needs and ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards. Furthermore, you will collaborate with all other departments to ensure items that are required for service are available when needed.
