Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
- Develop and implement financial strategies aimed at driving growth and profitability.
- Lead financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Manage cash flow, investments, and capital expenditures, ensuring financial stability.
- Provide strategic financial insights and guidance to the CEO and senior leadership for critical business decisions.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks while optimizing processes to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and timely reporting.
- Lead and mentor the finance team to align with the company’s goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline (MBA, CA, ACCA, or CIMA qualifications preferred).
- Proven 6+ years of experience as a Senior Finance Manager or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in the food manufacturing or FMCG sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, taxation, and reporting standards in Sri Lanka.
- Exceptional analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities, with experience collaborating across departments.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and financial management software.
