Job Description

The position holder will be responsible for leading the growth and profitability of our furniture division, including Singer Furniture, Signature Kitchen & Pantry Cupboards, and Singer Premium Furniture. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for strategic planning, market analysis, product development, and executing promotional activities to drive the category’s success in the marketplace.

Job Profile:

• Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets.
• Conduct research to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
• Collaborate with teams to create and enhance product offerings that meet market demands.
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns to drive category growth and support the sales team.
• Monitor inventory levels while building strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms.
• Analyze category performance, manage budgets effectively, and maintain a customer-centric approach to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
• Lead a team of Brand Managers and executives in the furniture category.

Personal Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Category Manager or in a similar role within the retail industry.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
