Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Define marketable overall and sub-sector propositions for the Colombo Port City Special Economic Zone (CPCSEZ) supported by sound research and in keeping up with global and regional trends.
- Ability to develop strategic relationships with local and foreign entities in the industry and leveraging on these to facilitate partnerships.
- Advise and facilitate sector-specific investments into CPCSEZ with end-to-end engagement.
- Established relationships within the industry and relevant stakeholders locally and internationally.
- Recommend and implement industry-specific strategies to penetrate international markets, including international roadshows/events.
- Providing proactive solutions to address concerns of the industry and prospective investors.
- Ability to develop and present strategies and plans to senior management on promotion, business development, etc.
- Assist potential investors in developing business models and proposals.
- Negotiating contracts and/or agreements with prospective investors.
Key Requirements:
- 8+ years of Experience in the respective sectors, in strategy, consulting, business development, sales, and marketing roles.
- Exposure to multinational services businesses and international markets is preferred.
- Has a sound understanding of tax, regulatory, and legal environments.
- Strong at client-facing roles, negotiating, and closing prospects.
- Strong business development background.
