Role Description
This is a full-time Business Development Executive role based in Nugegoda. The Business Development Executive will be responsible for daily tasks associated with new business development, lead generation, business communication, and account management.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and develop strategies to expand the company’s customer base.
- Prospect and qualify leads through various channels (e.g., cold calling, email marketing, attending industry events).
- Negotiate and close deals with new clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at client companies.
- Track and monitor progress towards sales goals and develop strategies to achieve or exceed them.
- Assist with the development and execution of sales and marketing plans.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
- Strong understanding of IT products and services
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in business development or a related sales role.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly motivated and results-oriented.
- Proficient in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
